Ambrose Nakin was born in Durban on the 2nd of December 1985. He spent his entire primary and secondary schooling at boarding school in the picturesque KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
He discovered and honed his passion for storytelling from an early age where he was easily bored as a child. This gave birth to a very creative imagination. He would create scenarios that would allow him to drift away and were a source of comfort when difficulties arose, more so in the classroom. It wasn't until he wrote and performed his own theatre script at Michaelhouse that he realized he wanted to become fully involved in the arts, more so in acting. This dream was however not easy to come by as it wasn’t until many years after high school where he had built up the courage to go for his dream.
Ambrose is curious, interested in culture and South African stories. He looks forward to landing his first professional role soon.
