Bio:
He's a small-town boy with big-town dreams, fiercely passionate about fitness, storytelling, South Africa and its people.
You’ve probably seen him in films such as Spud and Mrs Right Guy, soapies such as Isidingo, Muvhango and Rhythm City, telenovelas Gold Diggers and Broken Vows, tv dramas such as Rockville, Sokhulu and Partners, Erfsondes and Intersexions or as the host of Abasemzini and Mgongo. In 2015 Lehasa had the privilege of being an ambassador for Joop! Homme cologne. Also known as ‘Mr Primetime’/Hasaling, you could say Lehasa has quite a bit to show for his past 12 years in the game, but rest assured, he's just getting started.
Lehasa's done voiceovers for a multitude of brands, tv and radio stations; recently he has been focussing more on the creation of stories, having written and storylined on some of the nation's most loved shows. Currently, Lehasa is the head writer and story editor for a new drama, The Station which first aired on Mzansi Magic in May 2021. He is constantly cooking up stories, with over 20 scripts written and ready to go.
His most challenging yet fulfilling role to date however is being a father to his two beautiful children.
Today, the South African entertainment industry, tomorrow Hollywood and the world, through his production company, Moloi Moving Pictures, other entrepreneurial endeavours and pure Sotho resilience and drive, Lehasa's purpose is that South African stories will shine on the global stage in his lifetime.
