Luyanda Zwane is an actor and model who was born and bred in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. She moved to Johannesburg, in pursuit of her dreams.
Luyanda Zwane was introduced to the arts in High school (Kingsway High school) where she took part in school musicals, and drama competitions and studied drama as a subject. Luyanda Zwane finished her Matric year with 5 distinctions and landed her debut tv role on Durban Gen (eTV) where she played a young teenage girl.
She took a leap of faith and moved to Jo'burg and landed her second role in Shaka ILembe with the reputable production company, Bomb.
Luyanda didn’t get the chance to study drama in university however she is doing short courses to better her skills. She enrolled with Actors Spaces Academy and has an acting coach who helps her sharpen her talent.
Luyanda is a young gem to look out for as she is busy with other international productions which will come out later in 2023.
