MLA CALL FOR CAST 'TOP 14'- 2023
Witness Kulani Mabuza comes from Mpumalanga Bushbuckridge but currently lives in Johannesburg. Mabuza is a gregarious person who loves interacting with people and is very passionate about the performing arts. Growing up in the church, Mabuza discovered his talent for singing and acting. His first acting role was as Baba Moloi at his Sunday School. During his high school years, he would recite poems and narrate.
After Matric, Mabuza wanted to do Drama, sadly there was no longer space at the Tshwane University of Technology, but he never gave up perusing his acting dream. Finally, the opportunity presented itself in the form of an Opera Drama that is set to music - whereby monologues and dialogues were sung in lieu of speaking.
In 2018 Mabuza took the lead role as Bartolo in Tshwane University’s production of Le Nozze Di Figaro.
In 2019, he completed his Diploma and then achieved an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts: Vocal Art in 2021.
