Nicole Bessick is an acclaimed actress, TV presenter, celebrity boxing champion and CEO of The Fight for Good Foundation - South Africa's first ever anti-GBV initiative that takes women from victim to warrior in 12 weeks.

Bessick first appeared on our screens in the locally produced and internationally acclaimed crime-thriller, Cold Harbour, which also showcased at the Cannes, Berlin and Los Angeles film festivals of 2013. Since then, she's made an impressive impact and a name for herself among the country's most dynamic artists in Is'Phindiselo (eTV), No Hiding Here (Showmax), Lockdown Heights (Instanovela), Daryn's Gym (eVOD), 12 Weeks to Find Mr Right (SABC 1) and the SAFTA-award winning soap operas Binnelanders and Broken Vows. More recently she appeared in Kings of Joburg (2024 – Netflix),   Smoke & Mirrors (2023 – ETV) and Miseducation (2023 – Netflix)

Her international credits include the Netflix hit Black Mirror and Investigation Discovery’s Killer Instinct.

Bessick attributes her discipline and tireless work ethic to sport. She started with figure skating (having represented her country on international platforms by the age of 8), and has moved into boxing, weapon-work and racing. When is not on set you can find her racing supercars, at the gun range or flying planes.  But boxing is her passion, and she relishes her time in the ring, as it gives her the platform to challenge stereotypes and demonstrate just how powerful women are.

As founding member and CEO of her NGO, The Fight for Good Foundation, Nicole leads the way in the fight for gender equality, women’s rights, and the movement against gender-based violence.

Blending beauty and brains, Nicole enrolled to study law at UCT, even completing a semester speciailizing in Entertainment Law through Harvard Law School.

This dynamic and immensely talented young actress is taking SA’s entertainment industry by storm.. and she is just getting started.
