Since he was young, Andrew Ingram has always been drawn to the performing arts world and has dreamed of becoming an actor. He has spent the majority of his life on stage, playing a wide range of different characters. He began his theatre training at CAPA (Cape Academy of Performing Arts), performed at the Cape Town Eisteddfod, and completed his LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations in 2020.

He attended Constantia Waldorf High School, where he continued to develop his dramatic skills as a performer. He had a rich theatre journey in high school. He starred in various productions, with his most notable lead roles as Hecuba in Euripides The Women of Troy and Sergeant Trotter in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. After graduating high school in 2022, Andrew’s dream of becoming a performer continued to grow.

He joined the Waterfront Theatre School full-time department in 2023, where he discovered a new love for Musical Theatre and Dance. He is currently in his final year, majoring in Musical Theatre and Drama. He has starred in the Waterfront Theatre School’s musical productions of Heathers: The Musical as part of the ensemble in 2024, and in 2025 he had a breakthrough performance as Tray Sophisticay in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. His training at the Waterfront Theatre School has granted him a skill set in Musical Theatre, Dance and Acting.

Andrew has also become a South African TikTok personality. His first-ever video, posted in 2021, went viral. His niche TikTok personality has brought in a huge following. His TikTok page consists of 'broken Afrikaans' comedy content. What’s become very popular in his content is his catchphrase “Hallo Hoe Gaan!” that has found its way into the nation's vocabulary. Andrew strives to create true and authentic content that makes people laugh, but in a more dramatic way that is true to his essence.
