Damien Wantenaar is a young actor, currently in the fourth year of his professional degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance at the University of the Witwatersrand.
With a background in theatre, Damien has performed in numerous productions from a young age. In 2019 he performed in the original student production, Nuclear at the WITS 969 Directing Festival, as well as Hunter Gatherers, which opened at the Market Theatre.
He is also a screen actor, having performed in the music video for S B X’s single, 4 U, in 2021 – alongside many student films. He prides himself on an ethic of hard work, diligence and passion that fuels his creative life.
Damien was one of the top ten actors discovered from our CALL FOR CAST open auditions 2021.
