Karabo Motlhabi, a vibrant and vivacious actress, was born in Kagiso and raised in Rustenburg, South Africa. Determined to make it in the music industry, she took up the challenge and entered the Coca-Cola Popstars competition in 2003. Her dedication and talent catapulted her to winning the singing competition and forming the SAMA award-winning group Adilah. Their single Ses’fikile was an instant hit, and the album went on to gross platinum status. The group later split up to pursue different goals. She went on to study further and get into the corporate world.
She went on to host two online radio stations, K Radio, Coffee and Deep House as the main anchor. Later, she went on to present a show, VOOV, which was an interactive social station and gossip show. Karabo then joined Amped Africa as a judge. A talent competition set in disadvantaged schools, looking for young stars in singing, acting, and presenting.
From 2018 to 2020, Karabo featured in a supporting role on the hit television musical drama series, Rhythm City, which aired on eTV.
