| Kayla Naidoo is a passionate and dedicated actor whose love for performance began in high school, where she discovered a natural talent for acting while studying it as a subject. From the moment she stepped into character, she knew she had found her calling. Acting quickly became more than just an interest; it became a space where she felt truly at home.
After graduating, she pursued her passion formally at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she studied Dramatic Arts, Theatre, and Performance. Though she was unable to complete her degree due to financial constraints, she continued to stay connected to the craft through modelling, short films, and on-screen projects, building experience and refining her presence in front of the camera. Two years ago, she took a decisive step in her career by signing with an acting agency, recognising the value of professional representation in taking her career to the next level. Since then, she has booked numerous commercials, consistently proving her strength and presence on screen. While commercials have allowed her to grow and showcase her versatility, she is now focused on expanding into film and television, where she can dive deeper into character work and continue evolving as a screen actor. She's deeply passionate about acting; it’s one of the few things in life for which she truly feels she was made. With a constant desire to learn, grow, and push her creative boundaries, she looks forward to further exploring her talents and continuing to build a meaningful career in the craft she loves. |
