MLA CALL FOR CAST 2025 TOP 11
Letso Madumo is a magnetic force in the world of performance, equally on set or stage, and always drawn to stories that demand presence, precision, and soul.
Her screen career began with a supporting role in My Sister’s Keeper (2018), a short feature produced under the National Film and Video Foundation and Urban Brew Studios. That same year, she landed her first lead role in This Crazy Life on eTV, produced by Red Paper Studios, a vibrant character that allowed her to explore a lighter, more playful rhythm on screen.
In 2019, she took on a challenging and transformative theatrical role in Gibson Kente’s Too Late at the Joburg Theatre, portraying a male character in a musical production, having auditioned alongside male performers. The experience sharpened her craft and deepened her love for live performance.
Now, after time away from the spotlight, Letso is set to make a striking return to screen in the upcoming international series Liar Africa (Season 1) — directed by Catherine Cooke and produced by O3 Media International and Forge Ignite.
Letso's work is marked by bold instinct, emotional precision, and a clear-eyed dedication to truth on screen. Whether in character or collaboration, Letso brings a layered sensitivity to every frame.
