Natasha Thahane is a South African actress, brand ambassador, and entrepreneur from Soweto, Orlando East. Natasha made her acting debut as Claire in the ETV anthology series eKasi: Our Dreams. In 2014, she gained widespread recognition for portraying Enhle in the SABC 1 soapie Skeem Saam. Natasha then joined the cast of Mzansi Magic's The Queen in 2016, playing Amo Maake. Natasha continued to develop her craft at the New York Film Academy in 2017. The following year, she worked as an African correspondent at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
Natasha has appeared in other notable productions, such as Saints and Sinner (2014), It’s Okay, We’re Family (2017), Lockdown (2019), Kedibone (2021), Isono (2020), and Mabaso Family Reunion (2024), showing her range in both lead and supporting roles.
In 2020, she landed the role of Wendy Dlamini in Netflix's hit series Blood & Water, which has since become a four-season sensation. Apart from acting, Natasha is also a prominent brand ambassador, partnering with Garnier in 2020 to promote their Even & Matte skincare range, helping the brand become South Africa's #1 skincare brand.
Natasha's passion for her craft is evident in her seamless transitions between characters, bringing depth and nuance to her portrayals. Beyond acting, Natasha's skills extend to production and film direction, building on her academic foundation in media studies from Boston Media House and performance training from the New York Film Academy.
Through Thahane Media, Natasha successfully hosted a gospel concert with WITS SRC. The event drew a massive crowd, overflowing with attendees, and had a profound impact on many young people, inspiring them to explore praise and worship. Her entrepreneurial mindset and passion for empowerment have led her to diversify into various business ventures and philanthropic endeavours, showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the film industry.
